Tips and questions
- Can I make poffertjes without the special pan?
- Yes. Drop teaspoons of batter into a buttered non-stick pan; they will be flatter but taste the same. An aebleskiver or takoyaki pan also works.
- Can I use only wheat flour?
- Yes, they will be lighter in colour and a little less nutty, but still very good.
